Requirements

• Excellent attendance, consistent with attendance policy.
• Must be available to work Tuesday through Friday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturday's 6:45am- 4:30pm.

• Must have basic math, computer and calculator skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.

• Required to follow company dress code, hygiene and ethical standards consistent with our company policy handbook for customer facing employees. This includes but is not limited to, no visible tattoos, facial piercings, wild hair colors or coming to work in a disheveled manner.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
• Previous automotive cashiering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet our customer's at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
• Maintain customer lounge and amenities provided for our guests.
• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift (including excel worksheet of service and parts invoice totals) (add credit card slips to balance to batch totals) (communicating any discrepancies)
• Verify parts and service invoices to batch posting report must account for all invoices closed from the prior day.
• Process internals daily.
• Direct customers to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Must follow all company safety policies, dress codes and procedures.
